The Kharianwala police have arrested two proclaimed offenders who killed four citizens, including two brothers.

The arrest was done after 13 years from when the crime was committed while further investigation is underway. On the instructions of CPO Faisalabad, Sahibzada Bilal Umar, SHO Kharianwala, Inspector Mohsin Muneer Basra, using technical resources, arrested Kashif, the proclaimed offender who killed two brothers, Dr Sohail Akhtar and Dr Zaheer Akhtar, thirteen years ago, by raiding various places.

The arrested accused Kashif had shot and killed both the brothers on September 17, 2012, due to opposition.

After the case number 625/12 was registered, the accused went into hiding. The police raided him yesterday and arrested him.The Kharianwala police station arrested Nadeem, a proclaimed offender in a double murder case, along with the murder weapon. The suspect had shot and killed Asher and Asif a few months ago in revenge for their opposition.

Meanwhile, Civil Lines Police have taken a pickpocket into custody.

He is involved in over 50 cases registered in Faisalabad, Lahore, Multan, Chakwal, Gujrat, Bahawalpur, Hafizabad, Okara, Jhang, Sahiwal, Gujranwala and Rawalpindi.
